Holley: Vintage Series Tall-Fin Valve Covers for GM LS Engines

Coming in September, the Vintage series of valve covers for LS engines leverage Holley’s existing tall LS valve covers, but with a finned design that eliminates the coil-on-cover look (remote coil-relocation solutions to coincide with launch). This change gives your engine bay a classic, retro look.

An extra 0.54” of internal clearance over factory-height valve covers allows for the taller dimensions and contributes to a more muscular profile. To accommodate its customers’ personal style, Holley is making four finishes available:

  • Natural Cast (ready for custom paint)
  • Polished
  • Lightly textured Satin Black
  • Chevy Orange

Vintage series valve covers are designed to fit LS1/2/3/6/7 engines, and they are packaged to install with an OE-style baffle and ventilation system, lengthened factory-style mounting hardware, and a billet aluminum oil fill cap. Holley encourages users to reuse or replace the flange gaskets specific to their applications.

The new Vehicle Dynamics Module (30-2203), or VDM, from AEM allows users with an Infinity ECU or AQ-1 Data Logger to add track mapping and chassis dynamics data to their engine data. The VDM provides g-force, pitch, roll, and yaw from its integrated three-axis accelerometer and gyrometer; and vehicle speed, position, and altitude through GPS/GLONASS coordinates, transmitting it via AEMnet CANbus through a simple DTM connection.
