Pertronix has entered the automotive rotating electrical market with a bang: its new Contour Starter covers applications including Chevy small and big block; GM LS; Ford small block, 351W, and 351C; Mopar small and big block, and Oldsmobile/Pontiac V8, with other applications to follow.
The Contour is a beautiful, functional product, with a sleek, fully enclosed aluminum body that protects interior components from damaging heat and the elements. The new E-Force Supercharger from Edelbrock is a Stage 1 Street system that provides more horsepower and torque for your 2016 Chevy Camaro SS (auto: #1558, manual: #1559). How much more? The 1559 puts stock power up to 580 hp and 548 ft.-lb. of torque at the real wheels. That’s an extra 140 horsepower and 124 foot-pounds of torque!
These E-Force Superchargers are designed to work with all OEM emissions equipment, which will make them 50-state emissions legal (EO number pending). Installation is easy: the air cleaner lid attaches to a short stud that is screwed into the center of the carburetor. The lid has a threaded boss underneath, and simply spins into place.
