Producing 25% more airflow than comparable electric fans from other companies, the all-new Wave electric fan from Flex-A-Lite is also quieter and more efficient than traditional S- and straight-blade designs. The Flex-A-Lite team was able to engineer these benefits by using advanced computational fluid dynamics software to create the most aerodynamic profile possible and then testing it in a wind tunnel to verify results.
The performance is in the innovation. The newly engineered sine wave–shaped blade creates channels for the air to move along and reduces air vortices, while variations in the trailing edge reduce wind noise.
