SFI 3.3-rated long underwear from RaceQuip is knit from a proprietary blend of aramid and FRC fabrics to achieve comfortable, lightweight, fire-retardant performance (socks are 100% Nomex). This unique combination performs similarly to Nomex at a more economical price point, with the FRC portion providing a soft and supple feel.
But this material has even more to offer. RaceQuip designed it to be hypoallergenic, so it won’t irritate your skin like other materials, and it wicks away moisture to keep you dry when the race heat is on. These garments are machine washable, maintain their shape over time, and with their black color won’t show racing stripes or dirt.
