Distinguished by a pivoting duckbill “hammer,” these RaceQuip latch-and-link harnesses feature cadmium-plated, drop-forged steel hardware (no bolts) for the perfect combination of strength and weight. They also include 3” premium polyester webbing, twin individual shoulder belts, pull down–style lap belt, and single 2” crotch sub strap. All components exceed SFI 16.1 standards (tags affixed).

This 828008 quick-release triangle roll cage net from RaceQuip is a unique product. It was originally designed for use as a roll cage net on a sprint car or midget chassis. On full-size race cars, however, it can be mounted as a right-side helmet support net, with an extra-long front mount strap that uses a heavy-duty ratchet to maintain tension. A stainless steel halyard snap quickly releases the net for an expedited exit.

A sleek new design from G-FORCE Racing Gear, the GF3 full-face helmet has set a new benchmark in quality, functionality, and style. It’s got more features than we can list here, but we’ll cover some of the highlights.

On the outside, you’ll notice the difference right away. The outer contact shell is made from a low-density, Z38 lightweight composite blend. The shell is then coated with deep, rich white or black gloss or matte black paint and finished with a protective clear-coat outer layer. G-FORCE Racing Gear has added a new 16.5 premium harness belt system to its Pro Series lineup with six-point mounting and pull-down lap adjustment. The shoulders begin at the lap as 3” standard belts, attach to the lightweight E-Z aluminum adjusters, and reduce to 2” webbing to accommodate most helmet-restraint devices. All adjusters feature speed pull tabs for easy tension release, while the lap adjusters include anti-slip springs for additional security.

RaceQuip: FIA Camlocks

If you’ve been among the many racers asking RaceQuip for more of its discontinued FIA harness systems, you’re in luck! Two years after RaceQuip stopped making its FIA camlocks, the company has issued a limited run of four part numbers, all 6-point designs: 751001 (pull-down lap Black), 754004 (pull-up lap HNR Black), 754014 (pull-up lap HNR Red), and 755005 (Euro sub 2” PD lap Black).

These harnesses all carry the current FIA 8853/98 rating with fresh 2022 FIA dates. In addition, the 751 and 754 belts are dual certified with SFI punch tags, meaning racers in certain sanctions will be able to use them for at least the next five years.
