Based on Hooker’s new platform-designed Blackheart line of performance exhaust systems, this is a true dual exhaust system with merged-X crossover that increases performance, reduces in-cabin drone, and enhances sound quality versus any stock-type tube/single muffler system. From the cylinder head flange to the tailpipe, Hooker engineered this Blackheart Dual Exhaust System for 1998–2002 race-only Camaros/Firebirds to provide maximum exhaust velocity, ground clearance, style, performance, and quality!

Note: This part is legal for use only on Uncontrolled (non–emissions controlled) vehicles or racing vehicles. Racing vehicles are used exclusively for racing or other forms of competition. They are not registered and may never be used on the street.

Hooker Headers: Transmission Crossmember – 4th Gen Camaro/Firebird 1993-02

Hooker has released two new transmission crossmembers (71222001HKR, 71222002HKR) for GM 4th-gen F-body vehicles. Each is designed for use as part of Hooker’s LS/T56 swap for this vehicle platform, or as a direct stand-alone component to accomplish a non-OE transmission swap into a 4th-gen F-body behind an LS engine. Optional brackets and spacers accommodate the installation of a 4L60E, 4L80E, 200 4R, or TH400 transmission into an LS engine-equipped 4th-gen and/or for providing a divorced torque arm mount for use with any of these transmissions. Also available are a floor brace and body notch panel, CAD designed for direct compatibility with Hooker and other brand 4th-Gen F-body dual exhaust systems.
