The newest addition to the AutoMeter InVision line is here for 1978–1987 Chevrolet G-Body (El Camino, Malibu, and Monte Carlo). Highlighted by a vivid 12.3” LCD display, this direct-fit instrumentation comes with a full suite of high-performance AutoMeter gauges—speedometer, tach, oil pressure, water temp, fuel level, and voltmeter—plus integrated turn signals, high-beam indicators, wire harness, and temp/pressure sending units.
The 7005 AutoMeter InVision dash also includes a panel-mounted joystick for easy adjustment of alarms, displays, and colors; tach configuration and RPM range; fuel level and speedometer calibration; date and time; measurement output (metric/imperial); and much more. Square-body 1973–1987 Chevrolet trucks and Suburbans just got a universal solution for their entire dash. With its high-res, full-color, 12.3” LCD screen, the new direct-fit InVision digital dash system from AutoMeter lets you monitor speedometer, tachometer, fuel, oil pressure, water temperature, and volts—all in one place.
Users can choose from three selectable interfaces and get visual or audio alarms for parameters. The speedometer easily calibrates to OEM or aftermarket vehicle speed sensors, while the tach works with many engine types. The 7004 AutoMeter InVision digital dash comes with a wiring harness and sending units for water temperature and oil pressure. No drilling, cutting, or other modification required for installation.

Available as a direct-fit digital dash system for 1973–1987 Chevy trucks and Suburban; 1982–1987 Chevy Malibu, El Camino, and Monte Carlo; and as a universal all-in-one dash for most other vehicles, the InVision Digital Dash from AutoMeter took home the Best New Interior Accessory Product award at this year’s SEMA Show. Judging criteria included quality, craftsmanship, technical achievement, marketability, and consumer appeal.
AutoMeter President Dean Panettieri was understandably proud of the recognition, saying, “The InVision Digital Dash exemplifies the spirit of innovation that has been at the core of AutoMeter since 1957.”
Featuring LCD monitoring for speedometer, tachometer, fuel level, oil pressure, water temperature, and volts, the InVision is slated to release in January 2020.
