Developed by Mishimoto to combat hot air temperatures produced by turbocharged four-cylinder engines in 2015-and-up Ford Mustangs, the Performance Intercooler Kit includes both hot-side (2.5”) and cold-side (2.75”) mandrel-bent aluminum intercooler pipes—allowing you to upgrade the entire EcoBoost system at one time. This direct-fit intercooler unit requires no modification to your Mustang. It fits with the stock active grille shutters and mounts in the stock location so as to not inhibit airflow to the radiator or AC condenser.
Thanks to a 25% increase in internal core volume and 165% increase in external film area, the intercooler reduces intake temperatures by 35°F. It is available in Sleek Silver or Stealth Black, with wrinkle black or polished silver pipes, and is backed by Mishimoto’s lifetime warranty. CARB EO #: D-759.
