Engineered to reduce vehicle weight by 10–15 pounds, this manual rack and pinion is Flaming River’s answer to customer demand! Designed for 2015–2020 Ford Mustang (S550), the FR1515MU15 rack and pinion achieves its weight advantage by eliminating hoses, pulleys, and pumps. In addition, the billet aluminum mounting brackets can be adjusted to modify the piston angle for large tube headers and engine swaps in custom applications. Bolts into the same mounting location as the OEM Power Rack.

Note: requires Flaming River 9/16” -26 U-joint for installation (FR1709DD).

The Flaming River Microsteer universal electric power-assisted steering system can easily be fitted to any vehicle, without needing to change your steering rack or fitting a hydraulic system. Using the mode-selection switch found on the unique Microsteer Tuning Box, you can adjust the amount of assistance manually (by using a rotary potentiometer) or using wheel speed (by connecting a wheel speed signal). The FR40200KT Flaming River kit includes a speed sensor for this purpose.

Kit also includes a motor/gearbox, ECU, and wiring harness.

Flaming River has a new addition to its Keyless Ignition Systems that’s hands free and more convenient. The Programmable Ignition System Dash Mount uses RFID proximity technology to automatically authorize your vehicle to start.

This new system is fully programmable, allowing you to use your keyless entry or trunk release system, door poppers as well as other popular remotely-controlled accessories. The system can stand alone or be integrated into any of Flaming River’s tilt columns in a paintable, black powdercoated, or polished finish.

This new system has several security features to give you convenience and peace of mind. It has an emergency bypass mode allowing for the vehicle to be started using a unique pin number, and it has a security lockout feature preventing the system from being activated when the key fob is inside of the proximity range.
